Description

(17 and up) 6 month intense course $1,800 per module (contact me directly for payment plan). Learn to use a machine, how to handle fabric appropriately for cutting garments, take measurements, relate body measurements to pattern pieces, basic sewing stitches for diverse fabric weights and finishing touches for professional looking garments. You will learn to size, draft, cut and construct the following basic garments for women or kid’s (depending on your choice), pencil and A line skirt, blouse with and without sleeve, straight pants, loose pants with elastic waist. Students are responsible for purchasing the materials for their projects such as fabrics, threads, zippers, elastic, etc. (24 lessons of 2 hours each).
